Working on the reception of a busy office, you will be required to perform the duties outlined below, plus in addition be part of the volunteer team and support where necessary in the office environment: - Greeting visitors and directing them to the correct person and/or service; - Managing the visitors book; - Providing or sending out information to clients, volunteers and key stakeholders; - Answering, transferring and dealing with telephone calls as they come into the organisation; - Basic office administration and support to ‘core’ service.

Requirements: - A friendly and confident personality; - A smart appearance; - Good spoken and written communication skills; - The ability to stay calm under pressure; - Good organisational skills; - Basic IT skills; - The ability to follow safety & security procedures; - The ability to use office equipment; - An interest in the work of the organisation.


Support offered:

/ Induction/ One to one supervision/ Peer support/ Mentoring/buddying/ Social events/meetings


Volunteers will be carrying out the activities:

/ Alone/ In a group/ With paid staff/ With other volunteers


Training provided: Role specific training will be provided

Age requirements: 18+
