To deliver local events as part of a team to raise money and awareness for the local Samaritans branch. Help prepare local Samaritans fundraising events and assist during the event itself. Tasks will depend on the nature of the event. Make sure that members of the public receive a friendly welcome and are looked after. Appropriately signpost people to local Samaritans services if required Undertake any training deemed necessary by the Events Manager. Comply with fundraising regulations (e.g. making sure collecting tins are sealed).

Public transport: Volunteering will take place either in the branch or across various locations, all out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with our policy.
