Volunteers will be working with girls aged 5-7 on a weekly basis (Wednesday 4.30-6pm inc. set up) St Davids Church, Penrhyn Bay (Glan y Mor Road, Llandudno, Gwynedd, LL30 3NT). Volunteers will work with girls to support them to grow and develop and to support in running activities such as: *Arts and craft *Community opportunities *Outdoor activities There may be opportunities to support the group to attend community based events run for Rainbows across the area. If you have experience in being a Guide, you can join a local group to develop your skills. This opportunity is available for Duke of Edinburgh, Welsh Baccalaureate and College/School experience. Other opportunities in other areas around North Wales are available.

Is this role flexible? Yes - however, we would appreciate volunteers to give notice if unable to attend - would discuss at informal discussion

Min hours expected per week: 2 hours

Min period of commitment:

Requirements: Enjoy working with young people, open to additional skills you have that could be utilized in the sessions (e.g photography, sports, arts etc), good communication - other training may be available

Support offered:

/ Induction/ Peer support/ Mentoring/buddying/ Social events/meetings

Volunteers will be carrying out the activities:

/ In a group/ With other volunteers

Training provided: All volunteers are offered First Aid Training and Safeguarding. We can offer Young Leaders/Adult Leaders training if the volunteer wishes to take that forward.

Age requirements: 16+
