]Practical and DIY

We're looking for someone with professional level carpentry or joinery skills who would be happy to a few specific tasks around our centre. We have staircases that we'd like to have storage (shelving and cupboards) built under it. Our centre does not have a lot of storage space so maximising the potential of the areas we have would be a huge benefit to us, saving both money and volunteer/staff time on a weekly basis. There are a range of other improvements that could be made if someone was available to volunteer regularly but this would suit someone who just wanted to do a limited amount of volunteering and know they've made a huge impact to a small charity. Work would most likely need to happen during weekends so any disruption to the centre users is at a minimum but it would also be possible to work on some weekdays or evenings.

Premises type: On site

Public transport: We are on Cowbridge Road East so the 13, 17, 18 are the most frequent buses but there are a large number of other routes that pass the centre.
