We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers with experience of working with young people aged 16 - 25 to help support our Young Adult Carers support group. You will be greeting the young adult carers as they arrive, helping with teas & coffees, leading or assisting with activities and games, and general tidying at end of sessions. A staff member will be present at the group session which run on a twice-monthly basis on Thursday / Friday evenings for 2 hours (6.30 - 8.30pm)

Public transport: The centre is within walking distance of bus stops on St Helen's Road and the bus station.

Is this role flexible? Volunteers need to be available when the group runs (Thursday evening)

Min hours expected per week: 0 hours

Min period of commitment: 3 months

Requirements: Volunteers need to be: Dynamic and confident to engage with young adults Good listener & communicator Good sense of humour Sensitive to needs of young adult carers Non-judgmental & inclusive Patient & understanding

Additional support needs: We are happy to chat with you about your additional support needs to explore how we can best accommodate you

Training provided: Volunteers will be able to access the volunteer training programme

Age requirements: 18+
