Previously known as the Cardiff Bay 5 Mile, the race is back by popular demand after a successful 2017 event.The race comprises of a stunning 10km course around Cardiff Bay as well as a 2km Family Fun Run and Runners village in Roald Dahl Plass. Volunteers are going to be essential in making sure that race day is a huge success and you will be part of a team of amazing volunteers called ‘The Extra-Milers’ that will be ‘Making the Difference’ to ensure that runners and spectators alike have a great experience. You don’t need any special skills, just be reliable, flexible and have lots of enthusiasm! We will need support in a range of different roles on race day including registration, marshalling, water station, baggage area and the finish line. Roles will be allocated on the day and we will make sure you get a go at a few different areas. It really will be an amazing day and your support is really appreciated.
