Norma loves tea! In face I'm not sure I've heard her say anything except 'cuppa tea' and she's quite partial to a bit of cake or chocolate too. Is this something you have in common? Could you pop in for a cuppa once every few weeks and check everything's ok? Norma lives in a nursing home outside Aberystwyth. She likes animals, especially cats; singing or listening to music; and cups of tea. Norma spends a lot of time in bed in her room so having a different friendly face to talk to would be a nice addition. You could bring in things to look at or talk about, like photographs of any pets you might have. We will introduce you to Norma initially, and her staff team will always be on hand to support you to get to know her. In your role as a Mencap Volunteer Visitor you will make 6 visits per year, once every 2 months. Each visit is unique to the individual being supported.
