Crisis is the national charity for homeless people, we are now working within South Wales and are looking for volunteers to be part of our Action Team. This is a flexible role where you will be helping our campaigning and fundraising efforts. You will be part of a team supporting the events and activities marking our 50th year, talking to community groups, schools and colleges and taking the lead to find ways to ensure the public have a greater understanding of homelessness.

Requirements: An interest in homelessness and confidence to speak in group settings and/or work in a group at events.
/ Induction/ One to one supervision/ Social events/meetings
Volunteers will be carrying out the activities:
/ Alone/ In a group/ With paid staff/ With other volunteers
You will be working in a group at events but can also carry out independent volunteer tasks. Paid staff will be at all events.
Training provided: All volunteers attend a volunteer induction to learn more about the work that Crisis does. Additional training will be given if required for the role or specific tasks.
