]Community Work, Homelessness and Housing, Fundraising

As one of our collection box coordinators you will be building relationships with local shops, organisations and groups telling them about the work that Crisis does and how they can make a difference. You will then be asking them to host one of our collection boxes which are vital in supporting our fundraising and the work that Crisis does. You will be monitoring the collection boxes, checking in with the supporter and emptying the boxes once full before resealing and replenishing them. You will report back to the Fundraising manager, keeping them updated about supporters and keeping records of donations counted. You will volunteer in your local area but will come into the Swansea office at least once a quarter when counting and banking donations collected. This is also a good opportunity for you to meet with your supervisor and to meet other volunteers and staff at Crisis. You will gain experience of playing a vital part within a charity, working in homelessness and fundraising.
