We’re looking for a Volunteer to assist in delivering weekly craft workshops with local women and women who have been impacted by Domestic Abuse. Every Wednesday we hold volunteer engagement sessions for local women and women impacted by Domestic Abuse to come together and create handmade craft items for our Social Enterprise. The aim of these sessions is to empower women with new skills and confidence. We are looking for a creative, friendly and confident individual to assist our Social Enterprise Coordinator in delivering craft workshops at our weekly volunteer engagement sessions.

Is this role flexible?


Min hours expected per week: 2 hours


Min period of commitment:

Requirements: • Creativity and interest in art, design, textiles or crafts. • Teaching experience is desirable but not essential. • Ability to communicate confidently • Patience, understanding and non-judgemental attitude. • Enthusiasm for the aims of the project and the work of the organisation. • Reliability. • Sense of humour and ability to cope with stressful situations and difficult information. • Unfortunately, the PTAWA community rooms are on the first floor and there is no lift – therefore ability to climb stairs is required.

Volunteers will be carrying out the activities:
