Volunteer role description Volunteer Macular Matters Distributor We are looking for a number of volunteers who are willing to spare their time to help distribute our biannual newsletter ‘Macular Matters’. The newsletter helps us to raise awareness of macular disease and raise funds to help us continue our work. It is produced in May and November, so if you are able to spare some time in these months and would be happy to distribute it in your local area to places such as eye clinics, doctors, low vision services, health centre’s etc this could be the opportunity for you. Due to the nature of this role, volunteers should consider themselves to be reasonably fit and mobile to enable them to deliver the newsletter What can you bring to the role? • Desire to raise awareness of macular disease • A can do approach • Friendly disposition • Have an understanding of macular disease or want to learn What can the role bring to you?
