You will be volunteering as a 'Surf Mentor' for our surf therapy project. We work on a one to one basis with young people who are disadvantaged or living with a disability to teach them to surf. You will never be alone as we usually have ten or more volunteers per session. Our courses run usually April-Oct and are once a week for 2 hours, over 6 weeks. There is no minimum commitment but we do encourage volunteers to try and commit to a whole course. These sessions are fully supervised by a qualified life guard.
