To help SNAP Cymru to provide a range of services to families To be a listening ear to children, families and carers To provide information to families, to pass on referrals to the casework service as appropriate. To give accurate information to families on a one off/assistted information basis over the telephone To work in a dedicated helpline centre as part of team To pass referrals to the casework service as required To help children and families gain access to a range of support services and expert advice.

Support offered:

Volunteers will be carrying out the activities:

/ Alone/ With paid staff

Training provided: OCN training - SEN overview, exclusions, advocacy, early years. Training the trainer , disability awareness

Age requirements: 16+

Selection procedures:

/ Informal discussion/ References/ Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check
