]Community Work, Practical and DIY

Based in Godre'r Graig Park, an area of natural woodland, Volunteer Gardeners are required to Assist with the selection of local native plants suitable for different areas of the park to add colour and interest for the community using the park. To plant bulbs and saplings To help create and maintain a natural hedge boundary fence


/ May have opportunity to use Welsh language whilst volunteering

Requirements: Knowledge of woodlands Knowledge of native plants or enthusiasm to learn

Support offered:

/ Induction/ Peer support/ Social events/meetings

Volunteers will be carrying out the activities:

/ Alone/ In a group/ With other volunteers

once volunteers are familiar with the park if they wish they can go in with the volunteer co-ordinators permission at any time suitable for them

Training provided: Induction and site safety

Age requirements: 18+
