Mencap Cymru is the voice of learning disability in Wales. We have 3 Regional Officers, who work across the whole of Wales, providing support to individuals and families. We have an opportunity for someone who is a parent or carer of a person with a learning disability, to attend events and information sessions on behalf of Mencap Cymru to help build the presence of Mencap Cymru. This would suit someone who would like to volunteer on an ad-hoc basis, who is looking to use their skills to help us to promote our services to a wider range of people. You will be representing Mencap Cymru at events such as carers fairs, university fairs, and information days. You will be manning information stands, talking to people at events about the services Mencap Cymru offers, and taking down details from people interested in the services Mencap Cymru offer.
