By developing external partnerships that will create the volunteer pool
The 22 volunteer centre's which make up the network in Wales all have information on volunteering in your area and experienced staff who can help you decide what to do. They will help you get answers to questions which will help you decide on the right opportunity, such as:
What sort of organisation is it? What are its aims and how is it organised? How many other volunteers work there?
What exactly will I be asked to do? Is there training and will my expenses be paid?
How much time is expected of me and what is the minimum amount of time they will expect me to stay?
What do I do next?
The volunteer centre will help to get appointments with organisations you like the look of and they won't give up until you find something that you really like. They will be in touch from time to time to see how you are getting on and are available for you to get in touch with if you would like further volunteering advice.
