Cruse Bereavement Care is a registered charity who help and support those persons who have suffered a bereavement
Administration and Office Work:
Role summary: to assist with Gift Aid tasks
Suggested involvement: Approx 5 hours per Month
Main tasks:
· To provide administrative support with Gift aid processing
· Type spread sheets using Word processing packages and Exel and undertake other computer work id necessary
· Assist with any relevant photocopying, faxing as necessary
· Provide support in the post event task
· Assist other staff and volunteers in the distribution of posters, leaflets
· Keep updated with any changes and developments within Marie Curie
General
· To operate within all relevant policies and guidelines, including health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality, and financial regulations
Volunteer profile:
Essential:
· Word processing experience
· Good written communication skills
· Good organisational skills
· Clear and polite telephone manner
· Good numeracy skills
· An ability to work on own initiative
Desirable
· Experience of using a database package
· Basic desktop publishing skills
· Previous experience of office work
Fundraising:
To support fundraising team at events
