This project is initially being piloted in South Wales and Sustrans needs a voluntary coordinator to help take the project forward

Opportunity title:Walk Organiser

Reference:

Location: Mostly at home but also in your local community.

Your role will be to organise the Walk from start to finish.

Decide on route, and event date. Promoting the walk. Actually running the event. Identifying press opportunities to promote the walk. Undertaking risk assessments and site visites. Inviting groups and individuals to participate. Approaching companies and asking them to support the event through sponsorship or with free gifts for participants. Updating our supporter database.
