Key activities are:

• To participate in the planning of the group meetings.
• To arrange refreshment facilities for group meetings.
• To assist in the delivery of a service to young people, responding to their needs and to supervise any activities that take place as part of the group work.
• To ensure that the venue and equipment used by the group are safe and take reasonable measures if any hazards are detected.
• To undertake administrative and recording tasks as required.
• To work within Barnardo’s policies and procedures.
• To assist a member of staff in developing a rolling programme of activates for the children to participate in - this may be anything from arts and crafts to a visit to the park.
• Most of the above can be completed with the advice/support from a member of staff.
