They aim to beat heart disease by investing in pioneering heart research; support and care for heart patients; providing vital information and education to help people reduce risk of dying prematurely from heart related illness
British Heart Foundation Cymru currently has the following volunteering opportunity -
SCHOOLS CO-ORDINATOR: Helping to promote healthy eating in schools.
Make a real difference by helping us to raise the profile of BHF, educating children to look after their heart by giving short talks in assemblies (healthy eating, exercise and no smoking), explaining the work of BHF and encouraging fundraising events within primary schools e.g. Jump Rope for Heart (skipping initiative), Artie Olympics or fundraising projects with sixth forms, colleges etc.
Suitable for over 18 year olds only
Times available for voluntary work
