Tiddlywinks is registered to operate as a full daycare facility and as an Out of School facility with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW) catering for children aged from 6 weeks old to 13 years of age. The Main Tiddlywinks Centre is registered to care for 11 children under the age of 2 years and 32 children aged 2 years and over. Tiddlywinks 2, our overflow facility located with Ysogol y Wern Primary School is registered to care for 40 school aged children, 4 years of age and over. As a rule, Tiddlywinks 2 caters for the older school child - children aged 7 and over. Tiddlywinks also runs a Cylch Ti a Fi (Parent and Toddler) group within the local Community Centre, located off Ynysdarren Road, once a week and at Ysgol y Wern once a week.

 

To assist in the delivery of childcare activities for children aged 6 weeks to 13 years of age, ensuring each child is treated as an individual and that their development needs are met on an ongoing basis. To contribute positively to the ethos of a diverse, safe, stimulating, creative play and learning environment and to help foster positive language and role models that promotes and upholds Tiddlywinks’ equal opportunity policies.
