Victim Support and Witness Service offers a service to all sections of the community and is committed to ensuring that minority and disadvantaged groups are welcomed and involved throughout the organisation. Are you interested in the Courts and the Criminal Justice system? Could you operate under pressure as part of a managed team? If so, you could be just what the Witness Service are looking for. The Witness Service supports witnesses, victims, their families and friends before, during and after a hearing. Volunteers give information on court procedures, practical help and emotional support, sometimes accompanying witnesses into the courtroom when they give evidence. Volunteers required to commit to 1 day per week.
