Volunteers aged 18+ are required as Language specialists. You would need to be proficient in any langauge other than English particularly Arabic, Somali, Hindi, Farsi, Urdu, Polish,Czech, Estonian, Romanian, Lithuanian, Albanian, Russian. The list above is not exclusive.
Tasks include helping people with form filling, phone calls, administrative tasks, translating and interpreting for people. Helping adults with numeracy skills.  Listening to children read to help improve their English skills.
The time commitment is 2 hours per week/ 8 hours per month, negotiable with the organisation.  Full training is provided and out of pocket expenses are re-imbursed.  An informal discussion, references and a criminal records check will be required.
