Make a difference in your local community, by supporting and expanding our already successful team of dedicated fundraising volunteers. Did you know that £ 700,000 was raised from loose change last year? This helped produce 14,000 titles for talking books, facilitate 102 weekly telephone befriending social groups for blind and partially sighted people and fund our campaigns which recently enabled 1,500 campaigners lobby parliament.

What will I be doing?

  • Working alongside your local community fundraising manager (CFM) you will be the first point of contact to support your local volunteering team.
  • Design, develop and deliver an action plan for your area with your CFM including recruiting, inducting, training and motivating volunteers.
  • Investigate new venues for Sooty and future opportunities for community fundraising.

Due to insurance requirements, you must be aged 18 or over to do this role.
