To assist the Head Gardener, as required, in managing the garden in accordance with the long-term plan for its conservation.
Helping in the continuing development and renewal of the garden/park through:
Planting trees and shrubs; ~Establishment of borders and other garden features; Clearing, pruning and renovating overgrown areas.
Tidying up, dead heading, weeding, manuring and border upkeep; the care of trees, shrubs and plants;
Propagation and nursery work;
The upkeep of lawns and other grass areas; grass cutting.
Maintenance of garden machinery and equipment.
