Befriending:
Guiding blind and partially sighted participants around the venue, helping them to find seating and providing directions Assisting participants into cars and taxis and, at times, meeting attendees at the railway station or accompanying them there Registering attendees Giving guide dogs walks while participants are in forum sessions Assisting with providing lunch and refreshments - your tea-making skills:  a definite bonus! Possibly handling the roving microphone in some sessions; note-taking in others Anticipating and providing general assistance to participants, as needed
