Marie curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing care, totally free, to terminally ill patients, at home.
Role summary; To co-ordinate the distribution and return of Daffodil boxes and the banking and receipting of all monies from them
Suggested involvement: Dependant on the the number of boxes co-ordinated and geographical area covered, but each box should be delivered in late February and collected in early April.
Main Tasks:
1. Working with Community fundraising Co-ordinator become familiar with existing sites which display of Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal Boxes.
2. Negotiate approval for the placement of new Daffodil Boxes
3. Record site details including named site contact on form provided and return to CFC
4. Deliver daffodil boxes in February to sites as required
5. Liaise with site owners to ensure best placement of boxes
6. Visit sites once through Great Daffodil appeal to ensure good customer service
7. Retrieve boxes in early April, ensuring that boxes are clearly identified by location
8. Count, bank and receipt all monies, following guidance laid down in MCCC financial procedure
