Volunteers are vital to the BHF to help us raise funds, to inform people about the work of the charity and to increase our network of supporters

Volunteers would be involved in creating an appeal called the ‘Backpack Project’ in their own school

An experienced adult volunteer is needed to act as Area Commissioner for Cardiff & The Vale Scouts.

The role will primarily involve leading a large team of volunteers so that the programme, which currently has nearly 3000 young participants aged 6 – 25 years, can continue. The volunteer will need to be able to communicate clearly, participate in meetings (as a chair and a representative) and be a positive team leader and member. Management and strategic planning skills are required. Administrative support will be available as well as direct support from an employee of the Welsh Scout Council.
