Cruse Bereavement Care is a registered charity who help and support those persons who have suffered a bereavement

Your role will involve: helping set out the room in an agreed layout putting out signage recording attendees making and distributing beverages and biscuits, collecting in and washing up chatting to clients and their carers supporting the group leader by issuing song books, starting off songs/movements, encouraging participation tidying up room after the session

We seek to keep owner and pet together for as long as is possible with the help of a network of volunteers who assist with any aspect of day to day care of pets.

We require volunteers who can help out in any of the following areas:-

  • Dog walking - even once a week can make a huge difference
  • Short term fostering - helping to care for a pet in your home while the owner faces a short spell in hospital
  • Cat care - heping to change cat litter
  • Transport - taking a pet to the vets
  • grooming
  • medication
  • Raising awareness
  • Fundraising
  • Talks
  • other - any other help the owner may need regards pet care

Times available for voluntary work
