Volunteers aged 21+ needed to mentor young people who have left the care system.

Mentors will meet the young person weekly for 2-3 hours to help them integrate into the local community. Mentors also address the various needs of the young person e.g. education, health, employment, budgeting, benefits and housing. 16-hour initial training given and ongoing support & training thereafter.

Mentor recruitment takes place once a year in January.

Enhanced CRB and 2 references will be taken. Expenses reimbursed (including up to £20 each month to cover the cost of participating in activities).
