Opportunity title:Search & Rescue Dog Association - Volunteer Bodies
Reference: 253
Location:
Volunteers aged 16 + (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult) are needed by this organisation which provides specialist search dogs and handlers to search for missing vulnerable people

Volunteers hide from the Rescue Dogs, usually lying down in a hillside or forest within South Wales. Ideally volunteers should have experience of hill walking and mountain climbing, and a love of dogs. Volunteering can take place for hours at a time in all weathers, so a willingness to endure these conditions with good humour is essential. Training sessions normally take place at weekends throughout the year. Commitment is flexible. Expenses not paid.
