To provide care, support, education and facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or special educational needs within the locality of Llanelli and District, with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Breakthro Llanelli Town currently has the following volunteering opportunities:

We have 2 Saturday Clubs which run from 1.30-5.30 and provide members with a cooked tea. Volunteer carers look after the members and receive ongoing training which fosters friendship and understanding.        Aim of volunteering role:    To help Breakthro Llanelli with its aim of providing care, support, education and facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or special educational needs within the locality of Llanelli and District, with the object of improving their conditions of life.

  1. To socialise and stimulate through play, children and adults. Accompany clients on outings.
  2. Help with feeding children in wheelchairs.
  3. Drivers also needed to transport clients to Coleshill Day Centre on Saturday and cinema on Thursday night

Suitable for over 16 year olds only
