Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm

The Centre serves an approximate 5 mile radius of Ystradgynlais, from Tafarn y Garreg down to Godre'r Graig, and from Cwmllynfell across to Pontneddfechan.

The aims of the Centre are:

To recruit, train, place and support volunteers in the local community

To assist clients in need of help with tasks, whether they are individuals, by referral from Social Services, the Health services, or any other providers

To match volunteers' skills to clients' needs where possible

To research the gaps in local community wants and needs, and be involved in the setting up of new initiatives to fulfil such needs which may also require volunteer input

To offer help and information to those volunteers who wish to pursue voluntary work outside the local area, the county of Powys, and abroad.

To provide facilities to individuals and groups as required eg. copying, fax, internet use and room hire, etc.
