Merthyr Tydfil Volunteer Centre holds details of over 200 volunteering opportunities with a variety of local organisations. The range of opportunities is extremely broad and includes working with children and young people, advice work, befriending and mentoring, as well as many other opportunities.

Time commitment varies from opportunity to opportunity - some demand a long term commitment, others a few hours a month.

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons such as to learn new skills, to enhance their career, to meet other people and make new friends, to provide a service to the community and to enjoy themselves!
