The Centre for the Conwy area has access to over 1000 voluntary organisations and other contacts, displaying the long tradition of local volunteering in the county. Many of the villages surrounding the main towns confirm the importance of volunteering through events such as eisteddfodau, local agricultural shows and cultural events - successful because of the volunteers on whom these events depend.

The major towns such as Colwyn Bay and Llandudno similarly have a vibrant voluntary sector where there are organisations involved in all aspects of life, including social care, health, environment, transport and education

Conwy Volunteer Centre recruits volunteers, places them with suitable organisations, organises training where appropriate and generally helps to encourage and raise the profile of volunteering in the area.

The Volunteer Centre is based in Llandudno where it has a major presence in a shop on one of the main shopping streets.  It also has premises in Colwyn Bay, so that a VC service is available to the whole area of Conwy County.MV Logo
