People are needed who can spare a few hours a week(no less than 3) and are willing to be trained to answer the telephone to callers and listen sensitively whilst they explain their problem

Brecknock Disability Access Group . New Members required to attend meetings and help out raising awareness and doing local surveys.

We provide advice and information about access issues to local authorities, businesses and members of the public. We campaign for improvements to access to buildings and streets.

Meeting in Welfare Hall in Ystradgynlais on the first wednesday of the month. Help also reqiured for surveys on accessibility in the area and raising awareness of the issues around disabled access; campaigning; checking plans and working with National Parks and County Council.

Training provided, travel expenses paid.
