The Leprosy Mission is motivated by belief in God's concern for the poor. Our work is an integral part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We offer our services to all who need them, regardless of race or creed. Our core values are that we strive to be compassionate; holistic in approach (valuing each person, working at every level of need); professional in attitude, actions and management; and appropriate in practice. The Leprosy Mission England and Wales welcomes those who wish to volunteer their time, talents and prayers to help us achieve our goal of eradicating the causes and consequences of leprosy.

A picture speaks a thousand words but a picture and the right words can stir the heart and the emotions. We are looking for confident communicators who can inspire church and secular groups with the vision that The Leprosy Mission has to create a world without leprosy, and encourage a prayerful and financial response.

Purpose of the role:  To present the work of The Leprosy Mission to church and secular groups using suitable visual aids. To encourage them to respond to the presentation both prayerfully and financially.

Main activities:  To either make bookings through personal contacts or accept those made by your local area co-ordinator

To encourage prayer for the work of The Leprosy Mission by the promotion of ASK, The Leprosy Mission prayer diary, and the quarterly prayer bulletin.

To encourage a financial response to the presentation by promoting The Leprosy Mission’s fundraising materials
