Location: Penarth & Cardiff

Volunteers aged 18+ (16+ with parental consent) are required for fundraising duties. A Task Force volunteer provides assistance at local Marie Curie Cancer Care events.  These include walks, runs and an annual garden fete at the Penarth Hospice and an annual memorial event at Christmas time (Lights to Remember).  The duties that require assistance with are marshalling, car park attendants, registration, refreshments, stall helpers, cheerleading and meeting and greeting.     Task Force volunteers recieve a quarterly mailing listing events and activitiites where help is required.
The Annual Garden Fete and Lights to Remember Ceremony are held at the Hospice in Penarth, the other events are within the Cardiff vicinity.
