Volunteers aged 18 + needed by Turning Point, the UK’s leading Social Care Charity.

Mentors are needed to provide hands-on support to offenders with the aim of helping them to re-engage in the community quickly and effectively. Working closely with experienced staff, volunteer mentors may assist offenders/ex-offenders by: supporting them to access training, assisting staff to deliver in-house training (e.g. managing a weekly budget), linking offenders to other support agencies (particularly housing, drugs, debt, employment and benefits agencies), supporting them into employment.

Training & support given.

Hours available within standard working hours only (9 -5 Mon-Fri) .

CRB checks & references will be taken. Expenses paid.
