The role includes:

  • Research planning procedures of Local Authorities.
  • Monitor planning progress of LAs adn respond to planning consultations.
  • Keep the organisation's staff informed about planning proposals and consultations.
  • Office Based - Correspond with and possible coordination of a team of planning and policy volunteers, setting up a system whereby each local authority has a local volunteer contact.
  • Research and disseminate any recent local or national policies that may be relevant or useful for the work of the organisations projects.
