Befriending:
Deafblind Cymru currently has the following volunteering opportunity: Befriending & Disability/Health Group Volunteer To support members of the deafblind group to engage in the activities of that group, To provide communication and guiding support as needed to enable all deafblind members to be fully involved in the group's activities
Community Safety:
Volunteer Duties: Liaise with the Crime Reduction Officer/Community Safety Team Carry out a wide range of small Fittings of Equipment to a high standard ensuing client satisfaction and excluding electrical items

To provide practical and emotional support to victims of crime.

Volunteers must have empathy and good listening skills.

To visit victim of crime, assess needs, provide practical and emotional assistance as required.

Time required is 1 - 2 hours a week.
