Pyramid provides useful experience for all especially anyone wanting to make a career in child care or teaching.

Pyramid works with children from year 3,  8 to 9 years olds. Children are screened and those identified as having low self esteem and difficulty with friendship are invited to attend 10 weeks of after school clubs run by volunteers.

The ethos of the club is to provide a secure environment for the children and all activities are planned to increase self esteem and confidence in the children.

The clubs are run by volunteers who are supported by a local co-ordinator. There is always a member of school staff available on premises though they are not directly involved with the club.
