SNPT Crossroads Young Carers Project currently has the following volunteering opportunity: Volunteers wanted to work as part of a team, supervise and interact with the young carers at the club, assist with activities, provide refreshments and help with the setting up and putting away of equipment and games

We recruit and train volunteers to take up Advocacy partnerships with adults who have learning disability to ensure that the voice of their partner is heard and their individual needs met.

A long term advocate will understand a one to one partnership with an adult with a learning disabilty visiting them, establishing their needs and ensuring those needs are met.

A short term advocate will assist an adult with a learning disabilty in a short term one off issue.
